Physical Therapist - Full Time/Part Time

Location: Marine Park, Midwood, Park Slope, and Gravesend, Brooklyn

Office Hours: 8am - 8pm Monday - Thursday, Friday 7am - 4pm

Schedule: TBD within business hours, however we aim to be flexible !

The Role:

As a Physical Therapist at Evolve, you will be responsible for evaluating physical therapy needs and implementing comprehensive Plans of Care. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you'll exhibit a take-charge attitude and excellent business acumen to thrive in this role. Your dedication to patient engagement and performance-driven collaboration will be vital to your success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Initial Evaluations and generate therapy diagnoses and Plans of Care.

  • Demonstrate expert knowledge and skills in accurate evaluation and clinical judgments.

  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical notes.

  • Manage your own caseload and see patients throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Physical Therapy Program from an accredited American Physical Therapy Association school, entry-level master's degree.

  • Active New York license.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Thriving passion for patients and physical therapy.

  • High energy and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities of an exercise specialist:

  • Perform procedures in the office setting, as prescribed by the physical therapist

  • Instruct, motivate, and assist clients in learning and improving functional activities.

  • Instruct patient and family members on the proper use of devices, and home exercise programs.

  • Help clients utilize the resources of their community and family.

  • Report changes in the client’s condition to the supervising manager.

  • Communicate effectively with all members of the interdisciplinary team.
